Meet the people behind Crowdbase and discover why we co-invest in every campaign we host.
We are a team of entrepreneurial professionals supported by experienced industry veterans, and we invest our own capital in every campaign on Crowdbase.
Our goal is to provide an alternative form of financing to startups, innovative SMEs and socially impactful real estate developments, while aligning our interests with investors through co-investment on the same terms.
Founded company
Crowdbase was founded in October 2020 by Frixos Larkos and Daniel Koudouna after the failed first tender offer for the Cyprus Equity Fund.
License
Crowdbase was licensed to be the first investment-crowdfunding platform by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC).
Platform launch
The platform was launched to the public in September 2022 at the company's launch event.
First successful campaign
The first campaign, easyBoat, was successfully completed in December 2022, raising €469,718 from 141 investors!
Second successful campaign
The equity campaign for Snap successfully concluded, having raised €212,061 from 44 investors.
First real estate campaign
The launch of our first real estate campaign, The Courtyard, met its minimum target of €250,000 in less than 24 hours!
First financial milestone
A proud moment for Crowdbase, surpassing €1 million in investments facilitated through the platform.
ECSP license
Secured a Pan-European crowdfunding license, accessing a significantly larger venture and investor base.
